I think that although time flows a bit differently in yggdrasil, it isn't quite that big a difference, but in yggdrasil the flow of time just feels faster. And as for the Belldandy appearing as a kid in earthrealm problem, it was explained in the manga that it was a system failure that threw belldandy to earth in the form of a child and, apparently, with a childs mind.
