i took japanese, but all i can say is that its gonna be hard unless you got a secondary asian language. Me? i got Thai. helped me out a lot. japanese is mainly diffrent in the order of the sentences and stuff English= Who's is that? Japanese= That's is who? something like that. and practice tons and tons of practice. watching japanese anime and books will only help you if youve got at least 3-4 years of japanese behind you. P.S. i dropped it since im already fluent in thai and in thailand they translate about every known japanese manga and cartoon into thai i dont really need to learn japanese.
