Not to worry, TBT won't be on hiatus while I'm in Beijing. I plan on publishing chapters throughout my stay there. BeiDa is well wired for internet access (dialup in many of the dorm rooms), and the Haidian (think Akibahara in Tokyo) electronics and computer 'district' is right next door. So it's laptop rental time for me. As long as the Chinese authorities don't see TBT as being controversial or pornographic, there should be no censorship issues. They don't censor too much anyway, but because of the limited resources, they tend to frown upon 'non-academic' use of the BeiDa ITS. There's also tons of internet cafes...so there should be no break in publishing new chapts. On a related note, I won't be taking a camera because I've shot 30+ rolls of film during previous visits, and I'm not going anywhere I haven't been before. BTW, the incident in Ch 20 bears some resemblence to a real life experience of mine <g? !
