Aloha, Ack!!! That line is in Spiderman?! Yeesh..how embarrassing!! (bangs head on computer monitor) Thanks for identifying the line and relating it to current pop culture. Once again, Hollywood appropriates a universal sentiment and saddles it with layers of cheese! Taken in the context you noted, K1's declaration suddenly seems to reek of "lameness"...the cheese must be spoiled. I was thinking more along the lines of Epictetus, Book II, Lieh Zi's Realist Humanism and the ethics outlined in Tetsuro's Ringrigaku when I wrote the line. I'm definitely going to have to "bind and gag" that line rather quickly before it plagues the Everything even worse than Isilblius <g>. Thanks again for pointing out such a flaw!
