I've never really understood your concept of errant divinity, Cevn. In various places throughout TBT, you've stated that mortals who reach the next level without the helping hands of demons of gods would be something completely different from the two. You also say that it would then become possible for these errant divines to 'challenge' the gods and demons. I assume that at the time of the challenge they would be on a more or less, equal footing with the 'default' divinities. What I don't understand is why they would be considered errant. Is this just because the defaults frown upon diversity, or perhaps are only interested in maintaining the status quo. OR, would they be considered errant simply because as divines who are potential equals to the gods and demons they have no cosmic computer mainframe to maintain? If so, would the proliferation of the 777x777 petaled lotus cosm result in completely different alternatives to Yggdrassil & Vanagdrassil. If that's all true, do me a favor and make mine, Umbradrassil. I'd greatly appreciate if you would elucidate on your concept of errant divinity, Cevn. . "Heh, heh, divine errancy smells delicious---!"
