Isilblius, who has been a major character in Trial By Tenderness, is considered by the Gods to the "Ultimate Demon".  The Demons regard him as the "Ultimate Anti-Demon".  But those of you who have read TBT know that he is more horrific than either title.  Isilblius's only goal in life is to destroy all life.  Anything that lives and has a Soul...has no place in Isilblius's scheme of things.  Isilblius was put away by Kami-sama and Oni-same aeons ago because he threatened to destroy both Yggdrasil and Vanagdrasil.  Consequently, when he was brought back to existence, his evil nature led him once again to act with sordid malfeascence...

Isilblius Grotesquerie

This is the author's depiction of Isilblius in a more malign manifestation.  Half-gargoyle, half-demon...all nightmare, Isilblius chooses this form when his desire is to intimidate his enemies.  This is a very forceful rendition of the selfish, grotesque architecture of his Soul; a Soul that feeds on the destruction of all living matter and sentience...  The inspiration for this depiction arises from the author's appreciation of Renaissance symbolism and decorative motifs.
